Almost to the Second Trimester!!

We've been busy busy bees the last couple weeks it seems!! I have been slacking on the blog, so here's trying to catch up a bit!! Last weekend (Jan 15-17) we went to the Laughlin Off Road Races!! I had never been before and Rich was more than excited for me to get to see the races he loves so much! It was a lot of fun and I told Rich that I'm hooked! We're already planning next years trip!! Lol. There's a couple pictures from the races below!

This past weekend was fun too! Friday we just relaxed at home and Saturday we went to Madison Paz's 2nd Birthday Party!! It was a lot of fun and there were a lot of little kids there so it was nice to play with them and get a little more experience! :) On Sunday we took Thor to play in the snow at Red Rock. It was gorgeous! I realized I'm a little out of shape though as we hiked a little bit and I was quickly out of breathe walking up a hill!

I must admit sometimes I feel a little guilty that my first trimester has been so easy. I've had some nausea that has definitely sucked and I'm extremely tired all the time, but I haven't actually gotten sick and I was told the sleepiness will subside soon! I'm sure hoping so! I must also thank my hubby for putting up with me, because I've been a little moody lately too. ;)

I'm really looking forward to my second trimester and noticing my belly getting bigger and the day I get to feel our baby moving around!! I'll have to have Rich take a picture soon, I definitely have a little baby bump going on!!! :) We go back to the doctor next week and will hopefully get to finally hear our baby's heartbeat!! I'm also going to decide at that visit if we'll wait to find out the sex of the baby through our doctor or if we'll schedule a private 3D ultrasound in just 2-3 short weeks to find out!! I'm getting soooo anxious! I don't know how people wait the whole pregnancy!!

Onto the second trimester we go in just a few days!!!!

January is half over already?!?!?!?

I can't believe that we are half way through January!! Time sure is flying by! Things have been pretty low key lately. I have been feeling a little more nauseous the last week than I had before, but knock on wood, no sickness! :) Since I'm about 11 weeks, I hope that it stays that way... but no garuntees! Lol. I had another apoointment last week and was told everything was going good. Our doctor had to switch his schedule around so I met with the nurse practitioner... she asked if I had any problems lately and let me go... not much to that visit. I go back in a few weeks and hopefully we'll get to hear the baby's heartbeat!!

We had a nice New Years Eve over at our friends Anthony and Tiffany's house with their three little ones. It was low key and nice just to relax and hang out with them. We left shortly after midnight and headed home for more relaxing and bed! Other than that we've been laying low, having some family time, and enjoying our time together.

This coming weekend we're headed to the Laughlin Off Road Races!!! I'm so excited to learn more about and finally get to see more of something that Rich loves. It should be fun! I'm sure I'll have pictures to share!! :)
